This swivel eye bolt from the Yoke range creates a secure anchor point. It is ideal for all direction loading thanks to the 360 degree rotation and 180 degree pivoting ring.
This specific swivel anchor point comes in a big range of sizes. It is available with Working Load Limits (WLL) from 0.4 - 22.5 tonnes. Or sizes M8 up to M64.
The bolts have a metric thread (ASME/B18.3.1M) specification grade 10.9 alloy socket head screw per din EN ISO 4762.
These bolts have been forged in quenched and tempered alloy steel and have been proof loaded to 2.5 x WLL.
Tested and certified to EN1677-1 for your peace of mind regarding the quality and safety of this item. All parts are traceable to testing certificates.

Firstly is it wise to follow the manufacturers guidelines for each individual product. This swivel lifting point must be installed correctly to ensure safety throughout its use. Select the correct sized for the load you will be lifting and ensure the hole where it will be fitted has been drilled and tapped to the correct size. This is typically to a minimum depth of half the shank diameter + the shank length.
A torque wrench will be needed to ensure the product is installed to the correct torque whilst ensuring the flange of the anchor point meets the load surface.
Always check the torque at regular intervals to ensure continued safety. When inserting a hook into the lifting eye you must ensure it is fully inserted. The eye should sit in the bowl never on its tip.
