This version is a yellow pin bow shackle with safety bolt and comes complete with a split pin / cotter pin which is positioned within the bar of the bolt after the nut has been placed, this provides a safe securing the bolt within the shank of the shackle. 

Features of our Yellow Pin Bow Shackles

Grade 6 high tensile steel is the material from which these shackles are manufactured from, and they have a hot dip galvanised finish; generally to the standards of US Fed Spec RR-C-271. We provide EC declarations of conformity with these yellow pin bow shackles with safety bolt. 

Our model range of yellow pin bow shackles have working load limits that range from 0.5 tonne up to 55 tonne with many other variations in between. Although these shackles are made to be a cost-effective alternative to green pin equivalents, you will see that they are still very capable of supplying benefits in a range of lifting applications. 

Shackle Dimensions

Internal bow widths (f) range from 20mm up to 185mm and the opening measurements between the shank ends (d) range from 12mm up to 105mm, this is an important measurement since it is where the object to which the shackle will be connected to will pass through and so therefore cannot be any wider than this measurement. 

Ideal for everyday lifting applications at usually less than half the cost of a green pin bow shackle with safety bolt although the yellow pin variety cannot lift the heavier loads that a green pin can, they are the economy version after all.
