The load capacity of any lifting equipment should be the first thing you look at before you go any further. In the case of the Lodestar Model C, you get a safe lifting limit of 250kg. This is achieved via a single chain fall and means that for lighter duties it will be a great choice.
Another consideration will be the lifting speed, which will determine just how quickly the hoist is capable of raising and lowering loads. Once again the Model C excels, providing a standard speed of 8 metres per minute.
The Model C shares many of the attributes found throughout the Lodestar range of Yale hoists. This includes an aluminium enclosure protecting the internal components, which is both sturdy and corrosion resistant as well as being light in weight.
The included control pendant is durable, with an IP 65 rating achieved to ensure that the ingress of dust and liquids will be prevented.
The gearbox is a low maintenance addition that will remain lubricated throughout the lifespan of the hoist, topping off its excellent build quality.
