With over 140 years in the lifting gear industry, the Yale brand is synonymous with innovative and quality lifting products easily recognised around the globe due to their bright yellow colour, and are part of the Columbus McKinnon Corporation. The Columbus McKinnon heritage can be shown to date back to the 19th Century in America, originally starting out just making chains the company quickly expanded during the industrial revolution into the hoist and chain company that we can see today. CMCO began with a few different people coming from multiple places in America with one of these men actually originating from the heart of the West Midlands, ‘The Black Country’. These men all came together to form a company which manufactured chains and designed their first hoist a few years later. Yale was originally established in 1868 long before it became a part of the Columbus McKinnon Group in 1996. Yale now supply many types of lifting equipment to a wide range of different industries covering mining, forestry and transportation to name a few. They are known for their quality products which are all fully tested and certified and comply with all necessary safety standards.
