The Tractel brand name emerged in 1941, with their highly innovative Tirfor machine being their first product; this was and is such a great product that it has been copied by other manufacturers, though it has never been bettered. Tractel grew steadily until it became a worldwide known and respected brand of lifting equipment including the Tralift manual chain hoist / chain block. Tractel has 3 main production sites; Germany, France and Canada and six other facilities based in Spain, France, Canada, Singapore and China. Tractel is currently the global leader in the manufacture and production of PPE height safety products as well as permanent lifting magnets, lever hoists and beam clamps. The range of height safety equipment from Tractel is vast, with harnesses, fall arrest equipment, kits, belts and many height safety accessories to choose from. During the 1980’s Tractel brought out their own range of dynamometers which quickly became a very popular product for load and force calculations. The Tractel Group is also ISO certified ensuring the quality and safety of their products.
