The Rud Starpoint VRS Swivel eye bolt comes complete with its own installation tool. The easy to fit key tool enables quick fitting and removal.
Can be easily positioned to the pull direction and can be fixed or adjustable. It has a full 360 degree rotation so every pulling direction is accounted for.
The pink coating changes colour according to temperature. So its easy to identify if the specified temperature extremes are exceeded. The VRS swivel eye bolt is safe to us at temperatures from minus 40 degrees up to plus 100 degrees C with no SWL reductions needed. In some temperatures exceeding this range (maximum 350 degrees) the working load limit will need to be reduced according to the manufacturers instructions.
For permanent fixing a thread locker such as loctite may be used. This can prevent unintentional loosening due to vibrations etc. Always ensure the starpoint swivels freely once fitted and the key has been removed.
