Pfaff first dates back to 1867 in Augsburg where they first began to manufacture different winches and hoists. In 1902 the company was brought by an engineer named August Pfaff who decided to focus on the mass production of the winches and hoists which enabled them to increase their output from 400 winches in 1903 up to 2000 winches in 1909, this meant they could meet their customer demands. They continued to struggle along through the world wars and built its-self back up continuing to expand throughout the 1960s. They are now a part of the Columbus McKinnon Group and can supply their products worldwide. Pfaff products can be found a variety of different industries and ensures the highest of quality products.
