The VLBS is a load ring for welding on. Because of this it will be a permanent fixture. The welding sequence is quite precise so please refer to the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Always use an experienced, coded welder. Examine the product after initial fitting to ensure there are no problems. Every 12 months thereafter or sooner if necessary a thorough inspection and testing should take place.
Incorporating a 180 degree pivoting action the load ring will pull in the direction of the loads pull.
A protected spring keeps the load ring is the required position which can be beneficial when attaching slings etc.
Although the VLBS can be used at temperatures ranging from -20 to +200 degrees they should not be used around chemicals such as acids, alkaline solutions or pickling baths for example.
