Our model range of retractor spring tool balancers have working load limits ranging from 0.2kg up to 14kg.
The retractable tool balancer provides the user with a means to repetitively use the same tool with minimal manual effort. They are ideal for situations where the same task needs to be repeated over and over such as on an assembly line or perhaps bench work.
The tool that is attached to the spring balancer can be pulled down to use and as soon as it is let go the tool will be returned to its starting position thanks to the return spring mechanism. The first model has a nylon body whilst the others have a cast aluminium body. All come with stainless steel cable as standard in a range of stroke lengths varying from 1600mm to 2500mm and lifting capabilities up to 14kg. Other key features of these retractable spring balancers include self lubricating bushes and an adjustable stroke limiting device to limit the length of the cable for specific tasks. The spring balancers incorporates a rotary safety hook and auxiliary safety cable as well as a safety device to prevent a load from dropping if the spring should happen to fail, all ensuring optimum safety.
You will find that the last model in the range (has stop on it in images) has the option of a latching device in order to lock the position of the cable, this option can be selected when you choose the model you require in the drop down box in the choose model selection above.
Our spring balancer range incorporates these standard retractable models as well as a range of zero gravity tool balancers and some ATEX rated models.
