Solar Panel Lifting Bags- The Ideal Solution

When you need to lift panel or frame type objects the logistics can be quite difficult. They are often large and heavy and not easy to manhandle. These solar panel lifting bags solve the issues accompanied with lifting this type of load.

Key features of the Solar Panel Lifting Bag

Whether you need to lift solar panels, plasterboard or perhaps some large signage panels then a panel lifting bag would probably be your best solution.

The open ended design of this lifting bag is one of its key features. Your panel/frame can be loaded and unloaded from either side which makes loading large heavy objects quick and easy. The open sides also remove pressure on the protruding valves on a solar panel. The inner surface of the bag incorporates foam padding to offer good protection to the panels.

Heavy duty velcro fasteners ensure the contents remain secure whilst providing quick and easy access. There are two velcro straps on each side which can be tightened up to secure the edges of the bag together to prevent the load/panel from slipping out, whilst enabling rapid access for loading and unloading, even whilst still attached to the hoisting device thanks to the side loading design.

Heavy duty, polyester webbing slings are stitched into the solar panel bag to ensure optimum strength and stability during lifting. On each side there are 2 handles and a central lifting sling complete with a stainless steel lifting eye for easy attachment to a hoisting device. The lifting slings are positioned for the best stability according to the centre of gravity providing the panel is positioned within the bag correctly.

At the lower end of the solar panel bag there are 2 'D' rings which can be used to attach a tag line. These are great for helping to guide the bag throughout the lift, to keep it away from potential obstructions and minimise swinging of the load.

Our solar panel lifting bags are 2200mm in length and 1200mm high(closed) The depth is 100mm. More than one panel can often be lifted in one go. Supplied in a medium blue colour as standard, other colour options may be available on request.

Although our panel lifting bags are rated to a 200kg working load limit they are tested to destruction to a minimum 4:1 ratio.

Made with high tenacity polyester in the UK and tested to EN1492-1EC machinery directive 98/37EC & SI 2307 you can be assured of a high quality product.
