About the V-flap closed lifting bag

These rectangular heavy duty lifting bags can cope with loads weighing up to 1000kg thanks to the 2 main stiffened side walls (removable) and an EN1492-1 compliant lifting sling. This sling, like all others in this range is not permanently stitched into the body of the bag. This means that the sling can be passed through the sewn in guide channels for complete inspection. The channels also keep the lifting sling in the correct position at all times ensuring the load remains stable. The usual ring sling system is also in place around the centre of the bag for added strength and stability to the bag and sling.

Inside the bag there is a base plate which is 5mm thick, this helps to direct the forces to the sling whilst helping to protect the bag and maintain its shape. Outside the bag there is an additional base tray (5mm HDPE plastic) which is bolted to the bag. This base tray provides the highest level of protection from wear to the underside and is perfect for tough environments.

Options for the V flap closed top lifting bag

These particular closed top bags have a range of options including colour and a couple of options for the lifting point for the sling. You can choose from delta rings which have been rated at 275kg breaking load or you can have wear sleeves at the lifting points for extra protection.
