This will depend on how you wish to use the product. A standard screw pin is quick and easy to fit and remove and so is probably the best option for repetitive or frequent tasks, The main downside is they need regular checking for tightness as the pin may become loose over time. A safety bolt bow shackle on the other hand will remain safely in place until the cotter pin and nut are removed. These are best for semi-permanent tasks, or tasks which will remain in place for a longer period.
