This has been designed to make the process of attaching equipment to the top anchors right at the tip of the tripod much easier; the heights could be nearly 7 or 10 feet high depending on the tripod model chosen. Obviously no one is that tall and so reaching the top could be problematic once the tripod has been fully erected.
The FA 60 002 01 foot hold grip attaches easily to one of the holes in the leg of the rescue tripod by means of a pin. The stainless steel device incorporates little teeth to enable a good foot grip and provides a great temporary foot ladder. More than one could be used if necessary.
