Measuring 1.5 metres in length and featuring one plain end and one with a scaffold hook attachment, this restraint kernmantle rope lanyard from Kratos is conveniently equipped for ease of use.
The main length of this lanyard is constructed from polyamide rope that measures 11 millimetres in diameter and is durable enough to withstand repeated use in tough conditions.
At one end sits a thimble, sewn into the rope with stitching that has a transparent protector sleeve applied over the top. This thimble resists abrasions from any connector you choose to add to it. Meanwhile the sleeve not only prevents wear, but also means that any damage that is suffered can be identified through a visual inspection.
With a breaking strength of 22kN, this lanyard will provide safety when working at height and the presence of the steel scaffold hook will allow it to keep a safety harness wearer out of harm’s way.
