About the Tirfor Jockey Cable Puller

The compact design of the Tirfor Jockey enables easy portability and handling. These cable pulling machines can be used for tensioning tasks, guying jobs and of course lifting and pulling applications.

The Jockey is an ideal tool box companion which can be used for a wide range of applications. Having no gears or wheels maintenance is minimal. Unlimited lengths of wire rope can be pulled through the jaws in both directions thanks to forward and reverse levers.

The J3 model comes with a green plastic casing and the J5 has an aluminium casing.

Tirfor jaws have a progressive grip, therefore the heavier the load the tighter the grip, meaning optimal safety. The jaws can be disengaged so that the cable can be inserted or removed without hindrance.

Replaceable sheer pins provide the overload protection.

Tirfors are utilised across many industries for many uses, from energy, rescue and breakdown services to construction, forestry, farming and more.

Although the Jockey series has the lowest safe working load limits when compared to other models you can still up the ante by using the Tirfor principle.
