Pressure gauges measure the pressure of air or gasses inside a structure, such as a car tyre. A hydraulic gauge is a device that measures the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic device such as a hydraulic cylinder. They can be used in multiples with a manifold to monitor multiple devices. We have a number of hydraulic gauges and adaptors to choose from.
The gauges measure the pressure in
PSI (pounds per square inch) and/or bar measurements and are commonly
used whenever the operating pressure of a cylinder needs to be
constantly monitored such as in high cycle applications and harsh
environments.
Because a pressure gauge requires no power supply they are a handy piece of equipment to provide accurate pressure readings. There are many types and sizes or pressure gauges available with varying ease of reading the scale.
Lifting Gear Direct can supply 3 popular types of hydraulic gauges to compliment their range of hydraulic lifting equipment. The smallest model has a dial face with a diameter of 64mm whilst the larger two models are 100mm’s in diameter and so easier to read. 2 models go up to 1000 bar or 14503.8 PSI pressure and the larger one goes up to 2500 bar or 36259.43 PSI pressure.
We have a good range of the most commonly used pieces of hydraulic equipment used for lifting purposes; our collection includes bottle jacks, cylinders and accessories like manifolds, hoses and couplers. Talk to our team if you need something specific but can’t find it here, we can usually supply it for you thanks to our connections with hydraulic manufacturers.
