Viper Mini Chain Block Specifics

The compact design of the Viper mini manual chain hoist means that it's great where space is limited. Its length from the top hook to the bottom hook inclusive is much less than the size of the standard Viper chain block. The width and depth measurements are smaller too.

Despite its small physical size it can still handle 250kg loads and meets all the required standards including BS EN 13157. The grade 80 load chain (T-fine tolerance calibrated) meets working load limit performance requirements BS EN 818-7.

The hand chain is electro-galvanised and the hooks have heavy duty cast latches.

Supplied with a matt black finish and a 3 metre height of lift as standard although up to 12 metres and more are possible on request.

The high performance materials include sealed bearings for optimum protection whilst enabling total repair flexibility.

The Viper mini has a minimum breaking load strength of 4 times the stated working load limit. That said, this is a sign of its strength and safety margins and it shouldn't be used at 4 x WLL.

Fleeting or cross hauling scenarios are not recommended, however may be under specific guidelines, please read the attachment in the specifications for all the details.
