About the Fork Lift Gator Grip Drum Grab DG360a

Just like our other fork lift drum attachments the DG360a is easy to fit; providing the screw clamps are fully undone the forklift truck can drive straight into the pockets. They are secured by hand tightened ‘T’ screws so there is no need for any other tools.

There is also no real need to manually handle the drum at all because this drum grab will grip the drum as soon as connection is made between the grab and the drum rim, you just need to align is right with the fork lift; the weight of the drum ensures the spring grab will not release, even if it is transported across bumpy ground.

The drum release mechanism is also fully automatic; when the drum is lowered and touches solid ground the grab will release the drum. This model of drum grab incorporates a lower cradle support which acts as a stabiliser for the drum, helping to keep it steady and vertical.

One of the key features of this model is the fact that it is height adjustable for better positioning; the grabbing mechanism can be moved to facilitate the different drum sizes it can handle, 30 gallon or 55 gallon.

This model also comes as a double drum grab – model DG720a where 2 similar weighted drums can be handled at the same time.
