About the DR400 Fork Lift Drum Positioner

If you need to re-position steel drums or the large or extra large ringed plastic type drums and have a fork lift truck then the DR400 drum positioning attachment could be just what you need.

It slides easily onto the trucks forks where it is secured with two ‘T’ bolts. It can then be used to pick up a drum vertically or horizontally, with the 3 tines sliding around the drum. The hinged tines enable 90 degree movement with them automatically locking in the horizontal position when lowered to the ground.

There is a positioning lever that is connected to a wire which can be operated from the driving seat, enabling the drum to be transferred from vertical to horizontal as and when required.

This fork lift attachment is ideal for stacking drums tightly as well as loading and unloading from racks and vehicles.

Maintenance is minimal, with just lubrication needed on the hinges to keep operation smooth. Check the T bolt connections periodically to ensure they remain tight whilst in use. Visual checks should also be performed to ensure there are no defects or wear and tear to the attachment, chain and wire that could affect performance.
